31 years ago today the love of my life came into this world. I never dreamed I would end up with such a fun-loving, tender-hearted, witty, wacky, Jesus-loving, adventure-loving, cute-kid-having, people-loving, hot-looking momma as Janet Beciera Divinagracia. Happy

Story of a little prince
Nobody can work a room like this kooky kid of mine. Yesterday we had to go to the Social Security Administration building to apply for Nathanael's card. The room was completely full, and when we walked in we had to take a number. The room was like any Illinois State Service waiting room, full of all types of all races. It's the kind of room that makes you feel different than every single person around you, and yet, like you're part of the same massive city. Everyone is speaking a different language, and nobody is really having fun...except for Simeon that is.
He very slowly walked as close as he could to a little Mexican girl. Sporting his best grin, when he was just inches from her face, she finally gave him this big smile, prompting him to turn to me to laugh. Some time passed and I noticed that someone was playing peakaboo with Sim. I look across the room and saw this tough looking gruff guy with his hat real low making the silliest faces back and forth with Sim. A little later I saw him making the biggest, fakest-looking, most exaggerated smile at this African American lady who by all appearances, looked like she was really struggling in life. But the best was when our number was finally called. I was sitting at the booth with the lady who has probably had more enjoyable jobs in her lifetime. We exchanged all the right documents and while doing so, Simeon climbed as high as he could on the desk, looked right at her and touched his nose, saying, NOOOOOOOOOSE!! There is a lot more to tell, but those are some highlights. I can't wait to see what this little guy does in Bosnia!
